The Republic and Canton of Ticino, Department for Education and Culture, Vocational training’s Division: Certification Cantonal service for Continual Educational Institutes SCEF, granted L.U.de.S., Sector Department of Continual Education, on the 5th June, 2003, the Quality - Certification eduQua according to the rules established by METAS (Metrology and Accreditation Switzerland) and to the Cantonal Law Loform, of the 4th February 1998 that incorporates the various Federal Laws concerning Continual Education. For all the institutes of continual education, private or public, the eduQua establishes the criteria of minimum quality in line with the Cantonal Law, which regulates the direction of schools and professionals as well as the vocational training and continual Education.
The eduQua Certification is therefore a necessity for all the institutes aiming at working in the public sector.
The Department of Continual Education of L.U.de.S works in the area of Medical and Rehabilitative Sciences, of Social and Anthropological Sciences, of the Criminology’s Sciences, where the following courses are being held: Doctor’s degree, Masters and Courses of Continual education.
